That's right, my beloved OC Lacoco's birthday was yesterday (07/07/25), so I popped out some silly little animations out of my seal#hole
Lacoco's birthday is a very #special day for me, and for all who wish to join the #sealpupfam, jokes aside tho this birthday in perculiar really put it into perspective on how long Lacoco has been a consistent character for me. I mean, I've been drawing her for years, YEARS! Isn't that crazy? Back then I thought having long-standing OC's wasn't really my thing, while the whole time I drew Lacoco in every situation imaginable as just art practice.

The 24th of July marks when I made the first ref sheet for her, despite doodling her for countless years in school notebooks at the time, if I can find any older pics of her previous designs I'll make sure to post them, orrrr maybe I'll save em for next years bday. But for me I view Lacoco as sort of my kid. She's created with love and joy, birthed straight from my imagination following the boredom that is the american education system, so the few times I've received nsfw art of her as gifts I always politely told the people in question that "She's not really that type of character.."

A little Lacoco lore, she's a figment. A figment is someone who lives in your head, so she's kind of like a dangerous mind virus or something, but don't think of her that way!! She is a friend, and is friend shaped. She's as old as you are-- thats right, you and Lacoco are the same age! Isn't that crazy? She came from the planet thursday to spread joy and fun to everyone around her, ain't she swell?

To wrap it up, I'm just happy to see that she's consistently been a character that I spend time drawing and perfecting. Maybe I'll go into more detail at a later date but for now this is the extent of what I can say about her. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do :]
