Day six: bittersweet farewell oops turned out angsty instead of bittersweet

“You’re seriously just leaving Mika?”

Mikaela turned around quickly, his expression hesitent as he meet Lacus eyes. “Lacus..” He lets out an unsteady sigh and shakes his head, “I have to so this, I can’t just leave him alone. Not again.”

Very few knew about the boy; that was what they’d taken to calling the little blond Krul had presented to them one day. The boy had been blank-faced, his blue eyes dull and hooded. Lacus had immediately felt curiosity burn through him but he smartly held his tongue, simply nodding along to Krul’s orders of keeping the boy’s presence a secret.

Months passed and Lacus saw very little of the boy. He kept busy with his own things, having little time to pay any thought to the blond. That was until one night he heard a very distinct sound coming from the far end of the main library. René was waiting for him for their new assignment, but Lacus was sure he could spare a few minutes. 

Without making much sound, Lacus followed the soft sniffles, eyes roaming through the dark, empty corridors. Finally he came to one, dimly illuminated with a few stray candles, and spotted the hunched over figure of the boy. He was slumped against the wall, knees drawn up and head bent over. Lacus stopped, feeling oddly out of place. 

Why was he doing this? It wasn’t as if he cared about the boy, yet here he was. Lacus drew closer, causing the boy to raise his head, eyes red and puffy. An instant scowl formed on the blond’s face. Lacus had to resist the urge to grin. Here the boy was, openly scowling at someone who far surpassed him in age and power, the boy had guts. 

“There’s a reason why Krul-sama wants to keep you hidden. If you foolishly go running off on your own, you might not be so lucky next time.” Lacus made his meaning clear, warning the boy. It wasn’t that he cared, but if Krul ever learned that Lacus could have prevented any danger from befalling the little blond and he didn’t act on it, he was certain she’d make a painful example out of him.

The boy sniffled once more, wiping at his eyes furiously before he stood. He glanced warily at Lacus, mouth opening and shutting. Lacus took a step back, giving the boy enough room to pass through the corridor. He watched, amused, as the boy ran past him.

Lacus: He also likes watching Mika’s expressions so he’d definitely pick a position where he can have a clear view. He likes teasing Mika, not only with his touch but also with his words, Mika would tell him to shut up but Lacus can tell he likes it.

René: Wrapped around each other. It doesn’t really matter which position they’re in as long as they are practically glued together. Together they found a pleasure that goes beyond sexual gratification and they can spend long nights pressed up against one another.

LacusxMika~ And then there's this other one I say it’s a college au even tho it doesn’t really focus on college in anyway. What I do know is that they casually do the do once, but Lacus likes it too much and he wants to get closer to Mika, but Mika is rather resistant about it, he can’t see his relationship with Lacus going farther than a few hook ups. Eventually, however, Lacus convinces him to just hang out for a bit

College AU (after following blondie everywhere around campus and sending so many messages - he partly does that because annoying Mika is fun~) and Mika ends up having a very good time, different than he expected. He finds himself actually crushing on Lacus a little bit, after a few weeks, but he is afraid of what his family is going to think. You see, everyone know Lacus and René hang out with Ferid and co. every once in awhile and Yuu hates these people.

College AU So Mika just keeps meeting up and hooking with vampy dork, but it’s all hidden. Vampy dork, however, is not happy at all. He wants their relationship to be public, which lends to so many arguments and Lacus showing up at his door, just to get on Mika’s nerves

one night stand au’s are my fav!! Lacus calling Mika “blondie” is my new fav thing too, I’m def going to use that later! Mika worried over what his family will think while Lacus just wants them to be open about their relationship ;A; Let me just hug this au close to my chest because I love it!

Well, my dearest, shall we spread the lacusxmika love~! Tbh the best au’s I see for lacusxmika (we really need a name for them) are bar/club aus, like Mika works on the night shift at a bar or a club and Lacus is his colleague/senpai who trains and flirts with him at the same time. He thinks he's so smooth, but really it is very awkward and at first Mika is so annoyed, but with time it's actually a bit endearing? All I know is that he and René team up to bully Lacus from time to time hahaha

YES OK I KNEW YOU’D THINK OF SOMETHING GREAT

Lacus always flirting like at the worst times where their manager is standing behind him or something, so he’s told “Stop bothering the newbies, Welt.” Mika has to hold in his laughter as Lacus turns red and tries to play it off. René rolling his eyes every time he sees the longing looks Lacus throws at Mika and telling him to stop playing around and tell Mika how he really feels, because his constant flirting makes Mika think he’s not serious and that he does this with everyone but no it’s just for Mika. 

Finally one day, when they’re closing up the bar, it’s just the two of them and Lacus finally confesses and asks Mika out on a date. Mika’s eyes widen in surprise but then they narrow slightly because he thinks it’s all a big joke (oblivious Mika gives me life ok) but he takes in Lacus serious expression and he FINALLY realizes that this guy has been after him for so long. 

p.s. they date and René is grateful he doesn’t have to see Lacus’ lost puppy looks anymore.
