my final caprica (lbr mostly tamara) opinions

I finally watched the whole goddamn thing for real

-tamara should have been given actual screen time in apotheosis. god, you couldn’t let me see her one more time. just once? I read all this shit about how she was ‘present but unseen’ in the last two episodes that just makes it worse like all she did was stand next to Zoe after Things We Lock Away...and in the last two episodes...she isn’t even doing that?? she’s just gone? Zoe doesn’t even mention her anymore? LET ME SEE HER

-AND they should have at least had one more scene with her in any of the episodes between there is another sky and end of line, preferably more. specifically, I want to know if they ever actually shot the scene where tamara went to the Mysteries club and didn’t include it because that would have been interesting

-tad and tamara should have reunited at some point. though to be fair he did seem frightened of her after he learned she was dead...but then joseph was all ‘do it for her’ and he throws the headband on immediately. oh my heart. yeep also tad and joseph in v world was the equivalent of watching a young person try to explain computers to an older person and i’m sure it was 100% intentional NO we can’t fly, it’s a non-fantasy game god joseph is such a Dad™ lol    

-amanda got way more interesting to follow as a character once she started hanging out with clarice and then became a spy, Lacy also got more interesting to watch the deeper she got into the STO, I wanted to see more of her and her new friends 

-this show really likes to take it slow with everything except the actual stuff that interested me the most and that i’d like to see elaborated on. Like Joseph and Tad did not spend enough time together lol, and the interaction between Joseph and Tamara was way too short considering how long they spent having him look for her. Also I wanted more stuff with Zoe and Lacey besides just having the two of them meet and recap stuff I already watched actually happen. More V-World in general. Plotwise, things got so exciting in the last few episodes. It hurts even more now to know they cancelled the damn show. I mean it has been 9 years but now I’m just going to miss it forever I guess lol

-apparently tamara has an alternate scene/ending for the ‘end of line’ episode and if you think i’m not gonna get a dvd just so i can see it you would be wrong
