so like i decided to make a list of artist’s that inspire me. everything is going to be under the cut. they’re in no particular order. also, even though they’re under a read more, ya’ll should check them out.

@ingenixre - the mod has been a dear friend of mine since we were in 4th grade and she is who inspired me to get into art whenever we were younger. i still have a broken folder full of her old artwork and it makes me extremely happy whenever i see her art and how much she’s grown over the years. she has an art tag on her rp blog, and an art tag on her personal blog.

@lacylocks - i’ve gushed about carly’s work to them over skype like a billion times and i’ll continue to do so. a few years ago, they colored some artwork for me and to this day, i still love what they did with my sketches. their lines and coloring are so, so smooth. plus, they’re very good at expressions and they have excellent comedic timing when it comes to making comics. i’m always so psyched when i see their art across my dash or on twitter. they have a art blog and tag.

@godofidea - i’ve seen james’s artwork around ever since i got into sc a few years ago. i’m actually a bit embarrassed that it took me so long to find his blog and to follow him, and it’s bc my asshole daughter talked smack about sc’s face. but james draws some of the absolute best expressions that i’ve ever seen. he’s not afraid to exaggerate. the one thing that james def has is style and he’s not afraid to play with it which is something that i really, really admire and enjoy immensely whenever i see his artwork. he has an art tag.

@bigbigtruck - you can definitely tell that E.K. puts a ton of work into what she does. from the expressions of her characters, the body language, to every panel in her comic, The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ & Amal. she’s one of the artist’s that got me back into comics, and i even bought a commission by her through kickstarter a few years ago. i’m still pretty psyched about it to this day and i love seeing her wips and finished artwork when they come up on my dash. she has an art tag (fyi there are spoilers for TJ & Amal in it, so u might want to read the comic first.) and deviantart.

@zombiebass - i’ve bought a few prints and stickers from angelica, along with her art book and i look at it every time i need inspiration. i love her style and i love her characters. each one of them has such life and style to them. and i love how she’s able to cram a bunch of different sketches onto a page and make it look beautifully chaotic. something about it is just so nice to look at. she has an art tag, art blog, and a store envy.

@gayassdeer - i met curry through chem a few years ago, and i tend to binge look at her art whenever i need inspiration. i adore her traditional and digital art. i swear that every time i see something new from her, her art is always transforming and she works very, very hard at it all. i love her ink work. her line art is v crisp in a lot of her ink drawings, and she has a really good grasp on shadows and lighting. she has an art tag and art blog.

i feel like i’m forgetting a lot of people because i follow a lot of artists with different styles and approaches that i admire. so i might do another one of these another time. have a good day!

Since I was posting AU Crossing Boyfriends for Inktober, I decided to finally post the other two drawings of them that I've been hording since the beginning of the year.

The first drawing was suppose to be Carly's birthday gift.... Sorry, its like super super late. I had this headcanon that since Ryan was born in a hot climate that never has any winter, so Toshio gets him all dressed up for winter and fusses over him a bit.

The second drawing was just because I wanted to draw something cute and sleepy. : )
