Kanbe is the second patriarch of the Kanbe family, currently under the company "Kanbe Financing". His father had been the patriarch up until his sudden passing, and for all his life, Kanbe was being raised to have the family passed down to him. It was given to him earlier than expected, around the age of 25, and now, at 33 years of age, he still finds it incredibly awkward to have a higher position than the older men below him.

His captain helped guide a lot of his decisions when he first became the patriarch, but he is slowly emerging into the same image of his father

His father had him at a late age, thus the family has had a lot of time to grow before his death.

He has a rather lightweight build, he chooses not to fight, but makes sure to practice boxing everyday with his captain.
