    He hated the cat that was here before him. Certainly that scottish fold was going to get him into some trouble if she didn’t stop hissing at him and bapping him away. He liked it in this house - it was cozy, comfortable, feline friendly. Plus the owner of the place was certainly someone worth looking at.       Now, all he needed was a moment to himself with Cassandra gone to get himself cleaned up. Not in the traditional cat way - no - he hated that way. With her out of the house and about her business he’d take a few moments and enjoy a hot shower. She’d never know! 

      Or so he thought. He was usually pretty good at timing this better. If he was right she would be h home in half an hour giving him enough time to cover his tracks. Did he somehow miss a minute or two somewhere?
