I just spent two hours figuring out if there is enough trash on Earth to build a ladder to the moon. Most of my work is here. I used standard OSHA measurements and extrapolated a little bit as far as how much garbage each country produced. Final thoughts? There is enough garbage to make a pole to the moon, but not enough to build a usable ladder. 

Why did I do this? Because of a facebook post, that’s why.
