hot take: while I completely understand the meaning of "NLOG/NLOG behavior," can we also acknowledge that there are girls who truly feel like they have never fit in with their general female peers? that due to (primarily) their interests and hobbies, they have felt 'othered' in comparison to other girls and struggle to readily find female friendship. the value that they put into their relatively different interests and hobbies doesn't aim to put other girls down, and they don't want to adapt to what's the norm because it genuinely makes them uncomfortable. they're not trying to say that they're the most unique - they don't want to feel like an alien. they know other girls like them exist, but they currently don't have anyone nearby/in-person to share their interests with, and so they feel isolated. the term "NLOG" has destroyed the ability for girls like this to be able to comfortably express how different they feel to others, especially other women.
