Okay, take 500. It probably hasn’t been that many times, but considering how long she’s been at practicing, it sure feels like it. Last time she tried her hands at archery AND got on the hoverboard she flew pretty far. She’s still got the little scabs to remind her.
She inhales, holds in her breath for just a moment and then exhales, “Alright! Alright, Issy. You’ve been practicing. You’re going to hit those targets and you’re going to hit it WHILE on the hoverboard.” She waves her hand with a nervous chuckle, “you---you got this.” Before she hops on her wheeled hoverboard and pulls her bow out and gets ready, she’s looking around. She doesn’t want anyone watching in case she does fall and kisses the ground like last time. OOf, that was embarrassing. She moves, creates momentum and hops on the board. There are three trunks with little targets on them. She may be going a little too fast for her comfort, but she’s not going to let that stop her. She aims with the first one and quickshots her arrow at the target and misses. “Damn,” She curses under her breath.
She has time to draw the string back with another arrow and hit her second target! She got it. Hitting the target right at the corner. Not a bullseye, but it’s still something. It’s the third one that throws her off because when she lets go of the arrow, the wind throws it off and instead of now aimed at the tree, it’s about to hit someone else. Ismael hops off her board, stumbling as she does so to quickly warn the other, “HEY! WATCH OUT!” She could’ve SWORN that no one was around.
