Next in the series about lady orcs doing the work that keeps the Dread Fortress running. Big toothy fish in the moat make a strong deterrent to sneaky heroes looking to swim across- and an excellent source of protein!

Salting the Earth (41 reviews)
This is a new game, so it might be why there are so few reviews. Still, among visual novels, this is the kind of niche game that perfectly caters to my own taste: lesbian orcs dating sim?? LIke.. what were the chances??
Sketch commish of Takori for the WONDERFUL @warchiefwindrunner!!
I am thankful to Tumblr for helping me find some awesome Orc Lady art.
My next Baldurs Gate playthrough is definitely gonna be an evil half-orc Fighter/Cleric.
I haven't done an evil playthrough before! So I am excited.
But. All of the lady orcs in the portrait packs I had? Either wearing Super Uncomfortable Looking Armor, or not looking super buff, or like... just a sneering face that's hardly been focused on.
And Tumblr has a decent amount of Orc Lady art where... Strong! Sexy! Comfortable clothing or armor! Looking powerful! Looking hella confident! There were so many options, I actually had to narrow it down between 3 top choices!
So thank you Tumblr for being the best repository of Lady Orcs for Lady Gaze that I have been able to find.
Gruach, forge cleric of Luthic, from Many Arrows. She’s just starting out, so proper armor and heraldry later
It’s rare and strange when I can set pencil to paper these days, but I had a full illustration pop into my head and I had to try.
This didn’t come out as dynamic as I wanted it to, but at least I got down some of the design elements I wanted. If Luthic, in classic D&D lore, is in charge of motherhood and fertility, perhaps part of her worship is sacred dance among females, meant to strengthen and prepare the body for childbearing. Not everything is blood sacrifices and misery, even if there’s usually a sword involved (which I forgot to put in). Instead of a sword to balance or clawed gauntlets, I settled for staining her hands a good berry red!
Tonight’s heroforge futz-around for character portrait purposes- I think this angle captures the humble devotions of a forge-domain cleric of Luthic, right before she dons her custom-made plate and carves a bloody swathe. Incense? Altar cloths? Not that kind of cleric. Forging artifacts, imbuing divine life into iron and riddling with soul and steel in one? Renaming corrupted powers in acts of redemption? Bringing down the hammer ringing with the might of her own true god?
*Definitely* that kind of cleric. And I fucking love the prayer I made up for her at the beginning of the campaign, when we all were getting ready to be sent out on the mission. I just- really love getting into the lore and the feel of an underutilized deity.
