This has been a couple month's coming but I just had to do a little commemorative picture for what feels like the end of "Season 1" of our Dungeons and Dragons campaign (that Willow was created for).

From left to right - Eclipse, Roshi, Rowan, Arthur (@jouskaetc)​ , Willow (me), and Trapper (a major NPC) and their monodrone Daisy. All characters bar Willow are the creations of the respective people in my group.

Omg, original content. I’m slowly working on my next story with new and old faces. I really don’t have anything solid yet; just mostly character stuff. No plot, but hey, it’s nice to work on something original after a long, long hiatus. So, let’s start introducing people. Rambles cut underneath.

Hazel is a wee little human girl living within the Faerie Realm. More specifically; The Grove, a neutral spot between the four Faerie Courts. She lives there with her adopted mother and caretaker of the Grove, Lady Rowan.

Hazel loves her home, her family and the animals she keeps care of with Lady Rowan. She’s learning faerie magic. However, since she’s a changeling, Hazel’s magic doesn’t always work. Hazel has to channel her magic through a faerie lantern and a grumpy old spell book named Phthalo.

Lady Rowan is a ancient Archfae said to be even older then the Courts and their rulers. Being one of the original Green Men, she changes with the seasons and doesn’t fall within the Seelie (the Spring and Summer Courts) or Unseelie (the Autumn and Winter Courts). Because of this, Lady Rowan holds special power within her territory and claims the Grove to be a place of healing.

Lady Rowan found Hazel as a baby and took pity on the little thing. She took Hazel home with her and raised her as her own since faeries can’t have children of their own.
