Guess who's writing a Discworld Fanfic

It's about Moist taking over after Vetinari's Death, and trying to start a Public School

It has Lady Sibyl as the Headmistress (she went to one of those Nobby Boarding Schools), Young Sam being the Sam Vimes of the Schoolyard, Esk as a teacher who shouldn't be a teacher (she's good with the students, she just sucks at teaching), and the Librarian wrangling up a bunch of kiddos. Not to mention a sect of Omnianism protesting because they teach the Earth is Flat, and Factory Workers protesting because they're losing workforce (namely, kids from the Shades who have to work at factories to support their families)

It's honestly intimidating (my writing isn't the best on its own. Now, I'm trying to write a story like Pterry...). But it now exists in my mind, so I need to get it out into the world

I can't! Another parallel! And such a wonderful one, too.

1. Sam and Sibyl (Men at Arms):

‘So just you run along. It’ll be terrific fun. Have you got a handkerchief?’

Vimes panicked.

‘What?’

‘Give it to me.’

She held it close to his mouth. ‘Spit …’ she commanded. She dabbed at a smudge on his cheek. One of the Interchangeable Emmas gave a giggle that was just audible. Lady Ramkin ignored it.

‘There,’ she said. ‘That’s better. Now off you go and keep the streets safe for all of us. And if you want to do something really useful, you could find Chubby.’

2. Havelock and Aunt Bobbi (Night Watch):

‘You’ve missed a bit,’ said the figure. It produced a lilac-coloured handkerchief and held it in front of the young man’s face. ‘Spit,’ came the command.

Reluctantly, he did so. A hand wiped his cheek, and then held the cloth up to the light.

‘Dark green,’ said the woman. ‘How strange. I understand, Havelock, that you scored zero in your examination for stealthy movement.’

Disworld characters as Lego minifigures V.2. They now have all "light nougat" faces. I have an alarming poor stash of female ones!

Not sure about Drumknott's attire (too fancy), but a suit with a cravatte looked too modern. Hm.
