why do you use they/them for trump /gen

Because they expressed that they “don’t do pronouns” and I don’t say their name on principle; that and that executive order they signed that made all citizens “their gender at conception” which makes everyone nonbinary. That’s as explicit as they can be without actually saying the words, so for the next 1,296 days and every day after, I will be using they/them for them, and I will not be using their name.

I'm gonna limit this to "emoji(s) anyone with a modern electronic communication device can realistically use" so not custom emoji on Discord or Slack. that would make my answer 10 times as long. I have written a multiple thousand word research proposal on this.

I am also restraining myself from thinking too hard about whether "favourite" means "most linguistically productive for me" or "ones I think look the coolest"

So I have a Linguistics degree and I won a national prize a few years ago for my research on the nuances of the ✨ emoji. That one is my favourite of all time. I could talk about it forever.

That piece of research also involved the 💫 emoji. I also love that one a completely normal amount. (physically restraining myself from saying more)

Third fave I thiiink is either 🥰, 😊, or, ☺️ (physically restraining myself from saying more)

Fourth fave,,,,,,,,,,, I think 🌙? have gotten really into all the moon emoji more recently because my best friend is very abnormal about moon imagery and whenever I see the moon I'm like "waow nice Uny reference"
