Ah, the question of the century. Right up there with “Did I leave the stove on?” and “How many cups of coffee is too many?” (Spoiler: there’s no such thing).
Listen, babes—your girl hasn’t stopped writing. I’ve just taken a little detour down the poetic backroads. Think late-night heartbreak, messy healing, wild love, and spiritual whispers all scribbled between sips of overly strong coffee and emotional breakdowns in aisle 7 of the grocery store. You know, the usual.
My fanfics aren’t gone. They’re napping. Probably dreaming of plot twists and forbidden kisses. But right now? I’m elbow-deep in my own words—my stories, my truth, wrapped in poetry that hits like a hug and a slap at the same time.
So if you’ve ever swooned over my fictional men, cried over a cliffhanger, or screamed “WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!” at your screen...
First of all, love that for us.
Second? Come along. I’m still writing, just wearing a different hat. (It’s floppy, artsy, and has ink stains on it. Obviously.)
Fanfic will return. But for now, I’m building something personal, raw, and painfully pretty.

Chapter Name: Six 💕
Total silence fell over the mansion, the little girl's eyes wide, as she clung to her teddy bear, a small fearful tone in her voice “Mommy?” Nearly whispering “Cowley?” Her body trembling “Anyone?” But no one answered. It was cold, and scary, and oh so lonely. She sat there with tear stained cheeks. What's happening, why did everyone leave? Curling up in a little ball, she sniffles, wanting her Mommy.
The cold silence broke when Lainey heard some man's voice on the outside of the bathroom door “little girl?” But she didn't make a sound, she just simply held her teddy bear. The door knob turning, the man trying his best to come in but, it won't budge. The next moment there was a loud bang, and then a strained deep English “LEAVE HER ALONE”. Lainey nearly jumped out of the bathtub, screaming “Cowley, Cowley”. Her eyes darting to the keys her mom slid underneath the door, picking them up and then standing on her tippy toes, unlocking it, slowly opening it.
Crowley, sat against the door rim, he's heart aching when he saw Lainey's wide eyes, but before he could react she ran to him tears down her little cheeks “Cowley” he winces in pain, as her arms wrapped around his neck, “I am here darling, I'm not going anywhere” while her little trembling body clings to him, she speaks through the sniffles “where's mommy, I want mommy?” He cradled her, “I will go and get mommy okay, I promise” and he sure as hell meant that.
Slowly lifting her head, as she sat tied up in a wooden chair in some sort of factory type of building, her head thumping in pain, her vision blurry, her mind racing, Lainey all alone in the bathroom and Crowley, is… is he dead?. Her thoughts interrupted by a cruel laughter, of a man in the corner, she turns her gaze towards the dark figure “who are you, what do you want?” He kept laughing “oh Bridget, no hello? No, how are you doing?” she grunts “sorry didn't think this was a tea party!”
The man laughs “you've always been such a little firecracker” she moves her head trying to see who it is, but it was just too dark, “you know me?” She asked. He sneers “We'll get to the introductions later, but first you are going to tell me a little about, this so called information you have on my operation”
“Go to hell!” She practically shouts. He laughs again, but then all of the sudden another man's fist meets her cheek. She groans, and feels the involuntary tears running down her cheeks, but somehow finds the strength to sneer at him “that the best you got?” The man who just hit her in the face, hunkered down to look at her, “Boss we got a feisty little one” the man in the shadows speaks “oh! She will cooperate soon enough, all we have to do is wait for Joe to bring her daughter to us” at that moment it literally felt like her whole world crumbles “NO! Please… leave her alone, please” tears streaming down her cheeks, she's practically begging now.
The man in the shadows, grunts “shut her up”. And without warning the fist meets her face again and again and again, until everything around went dark, and her head slumped.
Screaming coming from the other side of the door helped her gain consciousness. All she could make out was “how the hell did Crowley kill Joe , you shot Crowley and where's the girl?” the other man replying “they're gone, completely gone” a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, Crowley and Lainey are safe. With that , it's like she found her second wind, knowing that the two people she loved the most are okay, she inhaled a sharp breath, and started tilting the chair back and forth, until it finally tilted over. Shattering the wooden chair, she quickly untangled her hands from the restraints. Taking a broken piece of wood, getting into a fighting stance as soon as she heard the door open the man bouldering “what the hell” he was surprised to see her free , “how?” She smirked, “you picked a fight with the wrong woman”
The man lunges at her, and she ducks hitting him with the piece of wood, he winches but grabs ahold of her waist, throwing her on the ground, kicked her in the ribs, a gut wrenching scream fell from her lips, and he laughed but it didn't last long, she was angry, they threatened Lainey, hurt Crowley and kidnapped her, her fist met his face and she kept hitting until he finally stumbled backwards and she got up, and with one last kick from her, he fell to the ground.
She quickly but painfully made her way to the big doors, looking down the hallway, searching for the other man, but she didn't see anything, so she silently made her way through the building opening the one last door the fresh cool air hit her face. She lets out a breath she didn't know she had. She heard footsteps coming closer and quickly hid behind a car.
Her heart beating in her chest, having to cover her mouth with her hand, due to her ragged breathing, tears burning behind her eyes, her heart nearly stopped, when she heard a gunshot, the voice came.
The man growled, “Lad's you better tell me, where the hell is my Bridget” he grunted again “you better hope and pray you haven't touched a hair on her head,” shoots another shot “I will kill each and everyone of you, until you tell me, where my woman is.”
She peeks out, it sounds like him, can it be him? She whispered “Crowley? Is that you?”
He paused for a few seconds “love?” He tried looking around but he just couldn't see her, then out of nowhere she came running towards him whisper-shouting “Crowley!!!!” He couldn't help it, smiling she's okay, she's here, but the smile disappeared, the moment when he saw her beautiful face beaten again, he growled “I'm going to kill every damn lad who did this to you” he brushed with the pad of his thumb against her bruised jaw, seeing her winch but yet lean into his touch, he gasped “Love! I'm sorry, I could not protect you”
She looked up at him, her eyes wide, filled with gratitude “your here now, you came for me again” he cups her face in his hands, his voice a little rasp “always love always” she wrapped her small hands over his wrists, “I…. I… thought I lost you” he simply shook his head, gave her a quick kiss, and spoke “no love, I have two reasons to stay alive now!” Her eyes locked with his “y ..you do?” Crowley smiled replying nonchalantly , and like it's the most natural thing to say, “You and Lainey,” Silent tears started rolling down her cheeks, Crowley looked at her concerned “Angel? Are you hurt? Why are you crying?” She shook her head, “No” sniffles a little “y…you are a wonderful man” he stared at her, and in her eyes, he could, maybe start believing there's good in him After All. He didn't reply, no his pride would not allow him to, so instead his lips plunged into her's, and in that moment he showed her, his heart, with a rhythmic dance of his lips. Despite the danger and the pouring rain, the world seemed to disappear at that moment.
After what seemed like an eternity they came up for air, he took her hand, his voice a little gruff “let me get you home love” as she just walked with him, but then she stopped, looking at him “How did you find me?” he Snickers “I have my ways” she glared at him, “tell me!” “Promise, you won't be mad?” Raising her voice a little “Crowley, tell me” he Huff's, “fine! One of my men betrayed me, that's why, they got in my house so quickly, and we'll let's just say I forced the location out of him, where they kept you!” She looked at him, some parts of him scares the hell out of her, but he did it for a good reason, her eyes drifting to his hands, clear sign of the bloody knuckles where he used them probably to ‘persuade’ the guy to talk. So she just softly replies “thank you”. Crowley smirked “anything for you love, but now it's your turn, how'd you get out without my help?” She smiled, and looked at her own hands with the bruised knuckles, “tell you on the way home” and with that they got in his truck and drove off.
She told him how she got out of that sticky situation, and how hearing that he and Lainey was safe was all the strength she needed, and of course he was curious as to how he's sweet angel has a certain dark past that she seems to keep hidden, he silently made a promise to himself, that he'll find out, what exactly makes this beautiful woman tick. But for now he's content in knowing that his two girls are safe, and as for the people who's after them, he'll find them and bring all sorts of hell unto them, his the ‘devil’ for a reason.
They pulled into a driveway of his safe house, catching a glance of how Bri's face lit up, as she knew she was about to see her daughter. He left Lainey with doctor Pierce, after he patched him up, They opened the door, and when that little girl saw her mother she ran towards her joyfully “Mommy, Mommy” Bridget fell to the floor hugging her little girl “I'm so happy you're safe sweetie, so happy” the two of them cried and hugged, and for a little while Lainey just looked at her Mommy lovingly, and finally she fell asleep, in her arms, the day’s finally catching up to her. Doctor Pierce's voice broke through, “Lainey said she knows Cowley will get her Mommy back to her, but until then she will not sleep” Bridget smiled looking at the old Doctor, who she came to love as a father “thank you, really, thank you”.
After they put Lainey to bed, Bri went to take a bath, and came out wearing one of Crowley's shirts. She walked barefoot to the kitchen, her breathing nearly hitched when she saw Crowley standing there in only grey joggers, seeing the bandage by his shoulder blade, a small gasped rolled over her lips, and she hugged him from behind, a brittle whisper, “I'm so happy you're okay,”.
He was taken by surprise, his heart beating in his chest, he just stood there, washing the blood from his hands, from the beating he gave one of his men, he turned around, placing his big hands on her shoulders, his voice stern “don't… just don't fall in love with me, I'm a devil” she looked up at him and smiled “Oh I know, but I still want you” his dark brown eyes piercing her as he warned “do you even know what a devil is?” She took his hands into her's, and softly replied “yes… yes I know…” he looked at her, searching her eyes, for a reason, anything, did she not understand who he was? She stood on her tippy toes, her small hand's sending a blaze of fire as it went up towards his shoulder then finally resting in the crook of his neck, while her thumbs are brushing against his jaw, she looked at him, “I know what a devil is, just an angel filled with pain.” She pulled him down so she could kiss him, he let her, and as their lips met again he whispered, “woman you're too good for me”. And in one swift motion he picked her up, her legs wrapping around his waist as he led her to the bedroom.
