in my experience air dry clay takes longer to dry and can be brittle or break easier, but it is easy to paint. Oven bake clay is sturdier and gives a little (it bends slightly) and takes less time to “dry" but its best to colour the clay since most are—

Air dry; -long drying time -slightly brittle/breaks easily +easy to paint Oven Bake; -shorter drying time (depends on thickness) -harder to paint over in my opinion +gives with pressure/bends
I know how to use clay. :Y And I know the difference between the two. I'm pretty sure every Homosuck does. They aren't hard to paint at all in my opinion. Oven bake is actually really easy to paint. I've had this huge tub of air dry clay though for a really long time and decided to try it to repair these other horns I have. o3o They have a shit ton of cracks in them though so I'm going to the craft store tomorrow to get some modge podge to seal the cracks and paint.
