I Belong to you
âI belong to you nowâ
Thatâs the first sound that greets your hearing, muffled behind your apartment door that you share with your love.
Momentarily confused, your hand stops its journey to the door handle. Shay was suppose to land tomorrow morning. You had already planned an entire day of pampering her, the woman who so absolutely had you unraveled. Three weeks away had been torturous.
Or was it a burgular?
No burglar would play your song while looting your place. No, it wasnât a thief, or maybe she was. After all Shay had stolen your heart from the first moment you kissed, hadnât she?
You open the door in a hurry, arms yearning to hold her, lips blazing to kiss her, eyes searching.
âI know I could be spending a little too much time with youâ
Brandiâs voice heavy with emotion playing in the background as your feet hurriedly carry you to the living room. There she was, sitting crossed legged in the middle of the glam that you had bought together in Tehran. You stop in your tracks, involuntarily. Shay always made time stop around you.
The room was lit with candles around, giving an ethereal glow to her already Godly beauty. She has a soft smile on her face as she looks at you like you consume her.
You get that. The feeling of it all. Where you completely belong to another.
âIf I had all my yesterdays, Iâd give them to you tooâ
Her eyes glisten with tears filling up, but you know they arenât of grief, rather love.
âMarry me.â
You gasp.
âWhat?â
Yes. You mean yes. Itâs been yes for you for a long time now.
She smiles through her tears, understanding your overwhelmed state. After all, she felt it too.
âMarry me, baby.â
You smile so wide. Tears now freely falling down both of your faces. She reaches for you, arms stretched out. You rush into her, straddling her lap as she buries her face in your neck. You kiss on every part of her that your lips can find, whispering yes over and over. Itâs always been yes for you.
âI belong to you nowâ
