The Duke and Duchess of Asbury Welcome Daughter
Earlier today, Graceview House officially announced that the King’s youngest sister, Claire, and her husband, James, the Duke of Asbury, had welcomed their fourth child together, a baby girl.
In a statement released by the couple they said:
We are delighted to announced that the newest member of our family, Leonora Marie Anna Lake, arrived safely into the world last week, on the 15th of September.
We are beyond blessed to have her in our lives and Elias, Beatrice and Anton are head over heels over their baby sister.

The couple’s statement came as a surprise to many royal watchers, who were used to the couple appearing on the step’s the Saint Mary’s wing or outside of the hospital after the Duchess had given birth. A source who works for the couple stated that: “They’re very well aware of the fact that their children are much further back in the line of succession than those of the King or the late Princess Isabel. Causing a ruckess and public event for someone who won’t wear the crown appears to be a bit ‘uncalled for’ to them.”
Either way, the newest member of the family, Lady Leonora is now 19th in line to the throne and fourth in line to inherit her father’s duchy.
Congratulations to the now parents of four!
