✖ I'd give you the greatest hug ever, Mother!!
You are the sweetest <3
38 and 43 for the writers ask :)
Thank you!
38: What’s your current WIP? Literally everything I have is a WIP because I never finish anything. The one I’ve started most recently is about a serial killer in a small town.
43: Have you ever killed a main character? Yes, I decided to kill off the main character in one of my old stories and only after I made this decision did I start developing and really caring about this character, so………. I played myself, really.
Hi um, my face tag is 'false face must hide'. Congrats on the 1.4k!!
thanks!!
fancast: katniss everdeen definitely!

Hi Pat! I'm hoping you can help me with this. Can you think of a term of endearment my eight year old protagonist's mentor/father figure Guha would use for her? Is humraaz appropriate, in a partners in mischief sort of way?
Hi, Amo! I’m not sure about humraaz, it’s certainly eloquent, but I would also consider it a very romantic endearment… I don’t know if it’s ever been used in any other context. There’s albeli, which I’ve heard used in various contexts (= charming, happy-go-lucky), bhanwra (= bumblebee, so cute! - although I don’t know if it’s ever used for a girl), chanda/chandni (moon/moonlight), natkhat (= mischievous), rajkumari (princess). That’s about all the age-appropriate charming nicknames I can think of… hope it helps a little! I feel like natkhat is probably the most appropriate in this context, it’s fond and cute without being condescending. It’s also not way out of our field of vision like albeli (which is only really used in poetry, like humraaz) so it sounds very natural.- Pat x
HELENA WHAT ARE FROZEN GRAPES I HAVE NOT HEARD OF THIS PLIS EXPLAIN
I JUST TAKE SOME GRAPES AND WASH THEM AND PUT THEM IN FREEZABLE PLASTIC BAGS AND THEN PLACE THEM IN MY FREEZER OVERNIGHT AND EAT THEM!! they are v good 10/10 would recommend 🌟
You give off 'kind mom who helps kids with homework and also takes them to explore haunted houses' vibe.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER!! YOU ARE MY NEW FAVORITE CHILD! YOU WIN ALL THE COOKIES!!
So I'll just tell you about my day. This dramatic motive for my villain just *dawned* on me today. I kept thinking super dark, psychotic motives in the beginning but it's a children's story?? What I thought up today feels much more real. Besides that, I spent most of the day in my fencing class. I think I duelled a lot of people today.
that’s brilliant, i’m so happy for you!!! the moment when you’re writing and something hits you is honestly the best thing. a children’s book sounds so lovely, what’s it about?fencing sounds great too. glad you’ve had a good day! 😊
