Well, he supposed she had a point there. But Jezebel was still the only one he had even considered coming to about this. “Yeah but you still have more experience than I do, Aunt Jez. Don’t tease me.” 

The demon spent a few moments thinking over her question, a thoughtful look coming over his face. “Being near him is easy. It makes me feel warm, and safe, and bright. And when we touch, or when I catch a whiff of his scent on the air, I get dizzy and light headed. It feels like there’s fuzzy caterpillars in my throat, and my heart feels so exposed and vulnerable.” He goes quite for a moment before tacking on another offhanded comment. “Honestly it would be unpleasant if it wasn’t such an addictive feeling.”

Now, feeling the Gate open was something he found unusual. However, it was who he sensed come through it that had him concerned. While he didn’t recognize the woman’s presence, he was able to track it down, and he did know who she was once he saw her. 

And he couldn’t stop the words from coming out of his mouth when he looked straight at her. 

“You have got to be fucking kidding me!”  Well, time to grab something strong from the bar, because he was going to need it. So much for a peaceful vacation in Paris!

Lucifer closed the door to his father’s study with a soft click. His report had been well received, but Lucifer’s work was far from done. Their plan needed to move forward. 

He started off down the hall, but fifteen steps later, his knees gave and he doubled over on a violent coughing fit. His control, so carefully enforced while he faced his father, had reached its limit. Blood spurted out of his mouth, his eyes; wheezing, Lucifer pressed a handkerchief to his lips, looking up.

“My lady,” he rasped, swaying to his feet. “My apologies. . . for this disgraceful sight. I’m afraid” --cough-- “I’m a bit. . . out of sorts.”

Whatever he just drank, it was unsurprisingly too sweet for him. Clearing his throat while putting his glass down, the young exorcist adjusts his glasses while bringing the dark bottle to his eye sight. Barsac wine. Making note not to taste this again, he leaves a small tip at the bar before heading out. How did the French survive on that stuff, he was not sure.

Rehearsing the name again in his mind, Fujimoto glances up at the building before him where this individual was supposed to reside. There were more notes, but our exorcist payed no attention, he only needed the basics. Walking up to the wooden door, Fujimoto pounds his fist against it loud enough so he wouldn’t have to knock again. “Hey! Anyone home?”

To say that Tarsa rarely got nervous would be a falsity. He did get nervous, very much so at times. It was just that he managed to hide it well the few times he did. This, however, was very nearly not true itself, as he stood waiting with his adoptive child clutching the back of his robes, and his lover standing before him. This meeting had been planned time and time again, now all that had to be done was to do it.

“Jezebel.” His voice came evenly, even as he moved aside the edge of his robes to slightly reveal Soreth behind him. “There is someone I would like for you to meet.”
