♂: for a father headcanon

rikku used to be a really big daddy’s girl (and still can be, sometimes). she’d always follow him around when she wasn’t off playing with gippal or other kids. now, she’d still do anything for him (i.e. saving him in the thunder plains), but she too often butts heads with him because of his traditional views and her just wanting to do her own thing.

there are some days when she does wish she and her dad were closer again.

ψ: for a brother headcanon

she thinks her brother is an absolute idiot (mainly for having a crush on their cousin), but she loves him all the same. while they’ve never been terribly close, she finds that on bad days she can still seek comfort from him successfully, and is grateful for those moments.

✈ - Places I really wanna visit?

//There are once again a lot of place I'd like to visit. I want to visit the Scandinavian countries, Canada, and Siberia in Russia. I also want to go to the US to meet the numerous friends I have made recently. I'd really like to visit Australia and Japan. And finally, I'd like to visit Florence and revisit Venice (and maybe try and take a trip to Monteriggioni while I'm at it) for obvious reasons.

finding people scary is not a thing he does at all. something he does, however, is be very wary of them, to the point he either keeps his distance or goes out of his way to make it known that he doesn't like them.

specific examples that come to mind are litost-leviathan and every junko enoshima and despair/masterminds. p much almost any.

☣ :Character my muse respects greatly.

nanami chiaki and kamukura izuru, for very different reasons-- nanami, despite being kind and soft and cutesy on the outside, puts him in his place in a way not much people can with her bluntness and firmness. izuru represents the hope he believes in-- that manufactured and impossible way of being talented at everything, at the same time that he's a living, breathing human being.

specific examples could be finalfantasleep and espoirvaleur, my timeline's nanami and kamu, and a special mention to litost-leviathan bc she's made a strange bond w him and has proven herself both strong and smart enough to meet his picky standards for people. ' u'

a hard one, gosh...

maybe not a romantic ship, but he'd have a lot to talk about with someone like joshua from twewy. they're both pretty high-maintenance and move people around as they please and have way too much to learn about those around them... - v-/

✚: Health headcanon

Having always been doted on and somewhat sheltered as a child, he's prone to catching minor illnesses more often than most. They're hardly any cause for alarm, but they do become a nuisance after a while. A sleeping schedule subject to frequent change doesn't do much in terms of helping this problem.

♕: Childhood headcanon

Cline was turning six when he learned he was going to be an older brother. He wasn't sure how he felt, though he distinctly remembers some sense of apprehension, unsure of whether or not the company would be welcome or not. The more time he spent with her as a baby and a toddler, however, the more she grew on him. He came to enjoy playing with her as children, though he never admitted it to her.

This was a challenge. A trial. One that would likely test the limits of his not-inconsiderable patience and willpower. It was a task that Braska had entrusted to him, and he refused to disappoint the priest. He would succeed. He would not falter. He would not break.

It sits at the corner of his desk, holding down a sheaf of papers despite how light it was. A cute little thing, courtesy of Driselle’s guest and the youngest resident of the manor, Cline had graciously accepted the little… animal without an idea as to what it really was, much less what to do with it. The longer it stayed on his desk, however, the brighter his work seemed to have become.

He did, however, make a note to ask Elize what it was. Perhaps crested whales did exist, somewhere.
