Yes, this picture was intentional.

Honestly, he'd be a great boyfriend. I think his only red flag would be that he wouldn't understand your POV (as a celebrity's lover) when it comes to him disappearing because the coach probably sent him to the Antarctic, or him jumping out of moving vehicles for fun.

There would probably be an argument, but after a football match, he'd just want to be in your arms.

You'd be pretty worried about him, but as the relationship goes on, you two would know each other pretty well.

I feel like beach dates would be cute, BUT it wouldn't be a proper date, because North would just run off to the water with his surfboard.

He could teach you, but he gets distracted by the waves he'd miss or just tells you, "Just follow my lead". Honestly, Liquido would be a better teacher😭.

But real dates would be more like shopping, for both of you. You guys have a deal, y'all first go to all your fav stores and places, and then you guys go to his fav areas (mostly sports stores and food areas), and he gets to window shop and talk about some limited edition roller blades that are coming up soon. (idk man)

There would be plenty of activity/ sport dates. Ice skating, roller skating, pottery and bowling would be the commonly loved ones.

You'd be surprised by how much junk food this guy can eat.

He'd say that the originals are better

Also, a lot of after-match secret visits. Like, once a match is over, and everyone is celebrating/ going home, I can see a lot of cute secret visits where North slips past the guys and sees you in a little room or parking lot for kisses and his congratulations.

This HC would be even better if you were a news reporter, like someone who takes interviews of the players and "doesn't support any team", and then you are literally dating a player

These guys look like they have a vlog channel and do crazy stuff together. Lowkey like Sam and Colby

Bolk is the cameraman at all times

I wish we could have seen more of "What do you do?" in the show. I loved the idea of North having his own channel.

Another HC: I can picture North getting more fans and viewers compared to El Matador and "Living the El Life" because of his channel.

Honestly, it would be so funny.

If you have a problem with one of them, you might as well have a problem with the other.

However, North is definitely the more chaotic one, and Blok is more responsible. (just a little bit more responsible, in terms of safety)

I feel like Blok would also be less likely to participate in exotic sports in comparison to North, but he would participate with North at any chance.

Also, I remember there was an episode where North and Shakes had to get used to high altitude, and there was a scene where North was afraid to jump off the plane. I was so confused since North is like the type to be on his phone while skydiving (this actually happened). But maybe it was a mistake in the show, or maybe North was supposed to be scared of jumping because of the snowy mountain region, which is very dangerous)

I remember this bothering me when I saw it lol.

Anyway, back to the duo.

Their favourite activity would be surfing (sometimes together or with Eagle Eye), but if they were to have a Defenders-only hangout, it would probably be at Eagles' or Rizo's place. (Because Grizz doesn't like the beach or ocean that much)

They have so many inside jokes together. And probably make bets about their teammates like "How quick would Grizz throw up?" " How much time would it take for Shakes to get arrested?" "How many water splashing attempts would it take for El Matador to solidify his hair" El Matador be like:

Coaches reacting to their kid coming out

1. Coach Belmont

Belmont already knew

He is surrounded by gay football players with impeccable makeup skills, of course he knows. He was just patiently waiting

He would never tell them this tho.

He was cooking when his boy/ girl came over asking to talk to him. He’d put the spatula down and lower the heat and listen.

He’d tell them that he cares for them and that his love is unconditional.

The talk would end with a cute hug and yummy dinner

(I would have written diff hcs for gay and lesbian but Belmont doesn’t seem to be a biased person)

2. Colonel Von Push-up

Unlike Belmont, he had absolutely no idea.

If his son came out as gay, he would just try to process the implications. To him gay means ✨Barbie, makeup, drag✨

So he would be pretty against it initially because he doesn’t want his son to be all girly.

It would be a pretty interesting conversation, i guess.

After a few days of loading the news, he would MAYBE try to understand. To him, being gay = twinkish = weak.

He’d come around soon. Be protective and try to understand lgbtq+ slang and flags

He’d be like that one meme

I can’t believe I made this 😭It turned out pretty good tho.

HOWEVER, He sees lesbians as masculine and very strong. So that must also mean that she would be masculine and strong (acc to him)

Which is exactly his department. He’d teach her how to beat the shit out of a man and his son how to assert dominance as a young gay man

He realised that if his daughter/son came out to him, he wouldn’t care much as long as they learned to stand up for themselves.

This sounds like a massive red flag, but this is how I think of him 🤷‍♀️😭

3. Coach del aqua

Honestly, I don't think he'd care much😭

He'd treat his kid the same irrespective of gender or sexual identity

Idk man I can only picture him go "okay.nice" when his kid comes out. He would not have any major reaction or shock, it's just gonna be "slay I guess? Idk" Lol, imagine his daughter/ son coming to him, and asks 'what he thinks about gay people' and he just goes: "I have Liquido on my team. I have mixed feelings about them💀"

Honestly, understandable if the first gay person you meet is Liquido. 😭 This is all I got for him, sorry guys

4. Coach Black

I can picture the talk going like this: Setting: Coach Black's lab/ office

Y/N (trying to avoid the topic): Um… dad i have been wanting to tell you… something… I- failed my math test..

Just like Coach Del Aqua, he would be pretty chill. However, if you mess up your academics, OH HO HO HO HELL NAH. UNACCEPTABLE.

5. Coach

I was today years old when I found out this man's real name is "Phllipe"...and I don't like it.

Just like Coach Belmont, he'd be kind and open-minded.

I can picture him in the kitchen with his cute dog sitting beside him after a long day of practice. He is in his shirt, his tie and blazer already neatly kept away.

That's when his kid comes in, looking nervous, and asks if they can talk.

He listens to them at the dinner table, nodding as they confess their sexual orientation. Making sure to listen to them properly.

I feel like Coach would be a great dad, but he would be too busy with the team to spend time with his son/ daughter. He would feel upset that they didn't feel comfortable enough to tell him this earlier.

It would be a learning lesson for him.

I AM NOT INSINUATING THAT COACH WOULD BE A BAD FATHER; HE WOULD JUST BE BUSY WITH WORK.

I can picture him giving affirmations after his kid is done expressing themselves and ordering their favourite takeout.

The Mangler Relationship Headcanons

Imagine Mangler having a wife/ husband, and none of his teammates knew of it because of how quiet he is. NOT EVEN JA KNEW!

To be fair, no one ever asked him about his love life, so he never brought it up.

I can imagine one day, Wifey/Hubby came to pick him up from practice, and Thor happened to see it. But the problem is that no one believes anything Thor says. So when he tried to tell everyone the next day in the locker room, no one believed him, and they started making fun of Thor instead!

lol imagine Mangler comes into the locker room while the team is mocking Thor, and when asked about it, he just goes "Ya, I have been married for 8 years"

He lives with his lover in their cozy home.

Despite being a quiet fella, he is an absolute sweetheart.

I can picture his spouse being shorter than him. I mean, everyone looks short next to him.

Isn't much into PDA; however, he likes to hold hands in public.

He travels a lot both before and after joining the team, so there are plenty of souvenirs around the house. Especially fridge magnets with cute couple pics stuck to them.

He likes going to the farmers' market together and spending the whole morning buying fruits and flowers.

He calls his spouse "Dear' or "Hun"

Dates would include going to a cafe or taking a stroll in the park at night/ in the evening.

He'd share stories about his teammates' dumbassery from time to time and make jokes to hear is wifey/ Hubby laugh.

German

So short background: Von push up joined the Bundeswehr operatives and earned the rank of colonel. During this time, he got interested in football and became a football coach by applying and passim the Super League Coaching Exam. Now he is the coach of Iron tank which has players of active and retired members of the Bundeswehr soldiers AKA, Uber, Thor, and Von Eye.

Favourite food: Sachertorte

he first had it in feratuvia, when iron tank stayed at the cauldron. Coach Belmont served it when he invited Von push up for tea.

Also really likes tea, so he wouldn’t say no to that. I can picture it go like this

Coach Belmont *pouring tea and placing a slice of Sachertorte on Von push up’s plate*: I am very glad you agreed to join me for tea. Please help your self

Von push up: yeah cut the chase. What’s the reason for this

Coach Belmont: I just wanted to have a civil conversation about your teams preparation for the game

Very cunning but he is very smart and dedicated when it comes to winning and training.

Hobbies: I can’t think of anything apart from shredding it at the gym.

Once in a blue moon he tells the boys that practice is cancelled and that they have only one exercise to do… which is win a boxing matcha against him💀

This gets their hopes up until they see their coach wear boxing gloves. They all got their ass whooped (RIP Ja Nein)

he expects Ja nein to remember every little detail like. Passwords, meetings, etc.

he got mad at Ja nein for not reminding him that his coaching licence was about to expire.The licence he keeps in his wallet and has not once showed the players 💀
