It’s not even like I’ve always stuck to everything--I have days I play to write and don’t, I have things I’ve tried to write that haven’t come to fruition, and I’ve made goals I haven’t met and plans I haven’t kept. (Who remembers how I was gonna publish a chapter of Radio Silence a month this year? Yeah that hasn’t happened, though the fic itself hasn’t gone by the wayside, I’ve just made alternate plans for how I’m going to do it.)
The important part, to me, is to continue. Didn’t write today, well, tomorrow’s a new day. Don’t carry guilt, just wake up and start fresh. And be trying to do something that’s hard. Sometimes that’s just writing at all. Sometimes that’s writing something you always wanted to write but you don’t feel ready yet.
But above all, just keep moving.

Or, at least, that’s what the people he fled with told him. (It took them time to trust him, even after Nero helped them flee Garlemald with a stolen airship and stolen plans.)

I think the devs said something recently about trying to implement more mounts with multiple riders? Like Nero just pulls up in front of Cid’s house one day in Ultima Weapon and goes “Get in, we’re going to the Gold Saucer” and there are already like 7 other people riding on it.
Yup, that’s what I was referencing. :B And really, Nero dragged the corpse of Ultima back to the Ironworks to fix up. (Hadn’t considered how it’d get out, however.)

Zenimax could make a game that’s just Estre solving mysteries in Coldharbour–with every mystery she solves, she grows another foot. The goal is for her to get Big enough to climb out of Coldharbour, then walk to Queen Ayrenn’s house and kick the roof in.

Hey I know this is pretty out of the blue, but I know you beat Shadowbringers recently and I was wondering if you've checked out the official side stories on The Lodestone? I don't think I can send links in a message but you can find them right there on the Lodestone under "Play Guide", then "Side Stories and More"... I definitely recommend reading these because they are full of cool canon lore!! Especially "A World Forsaken" if you were ever wondering WTF was up with The Twinning dungeon (under "Tales From the Shadows"); BTW the first two sections are Endwalker-era stories in case you wanna avoid spoilers! Also I am not sure how far you are into post-SHB content so the Shadowbringers ones may also have spoilers for the 6.x patches!
If you already know about these just ignore this message!! 😅 I just randomly remembered this because I am starting the Omega arc on my alt and there's a cute side story in one of the Stormblood sections about Cid and Nero when they were kids.
