There was nothing spectacular about what she was doing, a simple lonely walk among the stars, nothing she hadn't done a million tedious times before. It wasn't the twinkling stars that attracted her attention, not the galaxies nor the space clouds but the familiar pulse of energy she had never sensed before.
It was faint but undeniable, like a finger print.
With caution she followed it, disbelief and denial clouding her thoughts as she floated through the star clusters. The abruptness of the appearance made her cautious but she pushed on, even if it were a trap it was nothing the infinite power could not handle.
As she neared the presence her body felt strange, like two similar frequencies colliding and resonating.
