"Bruce, I think I'm ready to go to bed for the night." The sorceress announced aloud, clearly meaning something more than her tiredness. She spoke it as though she was making a request, which in a way, she was. "Sleep well, dear." Bruce dismissed, currently reading over copies of police reports regarding a recent kidnapping in East End. It had been over twenty-four hours since his last sleep, but he soldiered on regardless. Somebody had to free that woman. "And it's an awfully big bed to sleep alone in." Zatanna added to her previous announcement, now inflecting her voice to sound as though it was an offer. "Their family wants justice. Somebody has to make it right, and I am not waiting for the police to do it." Was his second response, a bit more assertive than the last. "Bruce, you know... " Zatanna stopped her ascent up the stone staircase, instead heading back down, to preoccupied man. She propped herself up on the tips of her toes, and closed her arms around his waist. "Your city is the only woman you married, you know."
