“Good timing with finally getting to meet the last of the family I haven’t had the chance to before the big day...” From what he had been told, and considering she was the last of Natalia’s family he hadn’t met - it must’ve been her old step sister of sorts. “Vitani, right? Pleasure, name’s Alfie.” The British accent was heavy on his lips as he held his hand out for her.
".. That's what.." The pain wasn't felt. Yes, evidence of the wound were there. The demon didn't care. The chokehold upon Avalon ceased; she dropped the girl onto the floor. Taking an steel crowbar, she swung hard into the other's body.
As soon as the grip was gone, she melted into the shadows, the blow missing her easily. "Did no one tell you not to mess with the children of Night and Darkness?" she laughed, grabbing her by the throat from behind. "You are out of your league, child," she sneered, grip tightening.
"-- Ok.. I see how you are thinking.." Vi didn't seem phased by the other's reply. So it seemed. She grabbed the girl by the throat, slamming her little frame into the metal door.
It was only the shock of things that had let the other get the upper hand and Avalon's illusion flickered once before leaving her true state bare. "You have one chance to walk away, Vitani," she snarled, the claws of one hand sinking into the blonde's arm.
"Yes Sir.. I hear you loud and clear." Her eyes softened, knowing what was to come. "I won't let you down."
Nox smirked leaning forward ever so slightly as he admired the woman’s obediance, “That’s a good girl.”
".. Sure, sure. It takes time. Just.. Be patient. I see you have been already."
"I know. I just don't want to see him hurt or torn apart by guilt over things.."
"I can try my best to explain what you feel." Her voice sounded reassuring. "I can't make any guarantee that it will work. I do like you as a girl, Avalon. You seem to be a great person for him."
"Thank you for that." She paused, running a hand down her face out of habit. "He's afraid of the darker parts of himself, I think. He needs to make peace with those parts of himself otherwise he'll end up destroying himself.."
"I believe his problem stems from the mother's boy complex. It's like he never knows that when you are with a girl you care about.. It's not your mother. Trust me. Our mom isn't a strong source. Like, not a strong impact. He's just thinking it."
