Eugenie practically squealed with delight as she raced into Arlise's rooms. She knew she wasn't behaving like a mature lady of 21, but today she didn't care. Today she felt like a giddy teenager. Today might be one of the happiest days of her life, after last night of course.
"Arli, look!" She exclaimed, holding out her hand with her brand new engagement ring on her finger. "We went to watch the meteor shower last night, and he proposed!" She actually jumped up and down in her excitement, in sharing this joy with her best friend. "It all feels like a dream, Arlise...and if it is a dream, don't wake me up!"
