Man I like the concept so much

So I saw the author @lend-hand-change-fate made this DTIYS and decided to participate :3

RULES TO PARTICIPATE:

You can use whatever drawing technique you like

ONE drawing per person please

Feel free to change anything EXCEPT the general poses/expression, and outfits (perspective modification is fine)

Once you post your drawing use #lahcafdtiys and tag either this blog or @fish-cakez so I can see it!!! apologies if I don’t reblog/reply it means I haven’t seen it yet (i will be reblogging all submissions on my main blog as to not clog up this one)

THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT!!! (or winners) I don’t want this to be a competition and I don’t want anyone to feel pressured to do this in a certain amount of time. Make it today, next week, two years from now, doesn’t matter!

Ok I did NOT expect this blog to reach over a THOUSAND followers in like six months, or uhhhh ever? But holy shit I cannot express how eternally grateful I am to each and every one of you who have stuck with me for this long and found interest in this story of mine. This used to just be a fleeting wish I had to make a comic reminiscent of the ones from the 2017 Cuphead fandom, and I started it with such serious doubt in my abilities as a comic artist. Now I know if I told myself back in October I’d be hosting a DTIYS I wouldn’t believe it. In the most sincerest way I can express it over text in a tumblr post, thank you to every single person who’s supported this comic. And oh my god the incredible fanart I’ve received? Honestly I get on the verge of tears looking at all of the kindness people have shown me for this edgy comic lol. I am so excited to finish the prologue (2 parts left!!!) and get the story really on a roll. Again, thank you guys so, so much for one thousand followers, and all of your support!

This DTIYS was so much fun to participate in! I really got to push myself and play with a new rendering style that I've been really enjoying!

I cannot wait to see where your story goes (˶˃ ∇ ˂˶)! I adore all your character designs, and Mugman Vile was so much fun to draw in this. His flames remind me of a lava lamp in the best way possible <3
