So a chaotic knitter!Sauron AU thought:

Word gets out that Sauron has been re-embodied. It was inevitable- an elf overheard a maia and then told a friend who told a friend and so on and so forth. Combined with the sudden appearance of an unusual orc, many elves came to the conclusion that either the orc had something to do with Sauron or (correctly) that he is Sauron.

Living within Aulë's realm, it was only natural that the news was quick to reach Lairiel. However, being personally acquainted with the polite, awkward and sickly "Urundil", and only knowing of Sauron from horrifying historical accounts, she failed to make any such connection. Instead, she is immediately worried for Urundil's sake.

"Sauron ruled over the orcs for most of their existence- what if that beast tries to lord over poor Urundil?"

Such is her affection for the aspiring fibre artist, that she admonishes anyone who suggests Urundil might be Sauron in disguise.

i’m not sure? it’s something i’ve seen listed as part of his ‘traumas’ more than once, and not to dismiss it but i don’t...recall it at all i’m really hoping i can be enlightened here

He was devastated. He still wishes he could have done more. But, since he can’t change the past, instead he tries to raise money to fund the reconstruction of the village, with the help of his sister.

Eric is angry. He’s basically fuming. His hands are clenched in a fist, nails digging into his palm. It’s just so… unbelievable that his own sister would betray him like this.

“Hey!” He pushes Lee back by the shoulders, causing her to take a step back in order to regain her balance. “I trusted you! How could you do this to me?” The only response the girl can offer is the growing confusion on her face. “You promised you wouldn’t tell anyone that I liked Henry! And out of all people you decided to tell him?!”

“Oh,” Lee says in a calm voice, but it’s hiding a grin. “I did no such thing.”

“Don’t lie to me! How else would he know?”

“You misunderstood, brother. What I meant is… I never promised you I wouldn’t tell anyone.” Her victorious grin pisses Eric off even more. “I never agreed to your terms, but you still told me everything.”

Eric grunts, throwing his arms up in the air in desperation. “I couldn’t have asked for a worse sister! I am never going to tell you anything ever again!”
