Bonnie knew that her spouse would be very busy with everyone descending on the school but after a few hours of setting up some of the food from Bonnie’s she’d gone in search smiling when she stepped into their office.

Joanna felt beyond awkward seeing Finn again, she, Lee and Alfie had always been close and Finn disappearing from Alfie’s life had angered her before she’d learnt of her own husband’s betrayal. She hadn’t known he was in town so seeing him down the corridor had her frozen in place. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Mr Wilder, hello.” Nat wasn’t quite expecting to see her boss and they mentally shook themselves out of that. Of course he’d be here, everyone was here. But it was a bit odd to see him out of work, she had a great respect for him and didn’t want to let him down at all. “Are you doing okay? Anything I can help out with?”
