FREE!!!!

As the title says, I’M FREE. From other previous obligations that kept me from having free time for myself, which means actual art posting!! 

As you all should know, @sshannonauthor‘s third installment in The Bone Season saga,THE SONG RISING, is out on March 7th. I’m very much excited, and I’m hard at work on drawing because THERE’S SO MANY AMAZING MOMENTS TO PICK FROM. I won’t post anything of TSR for a few weeks, just so other readers can read and catch up and not get spoiled. Anything I do decide to post will be tagged #thesongrisingspoilers, just a heads up.

I wish I could go to the TSR event, but alas, I am not cool enough. To those going, know I’m envious and will stalk your posts/pictures.

Now onto art, which has been a long time coming.

I find it absolutely hilarious how I design outfits when I can barely dress myself.

Anywhooooo was incredibly inspired by Bloomsbury Art Director and art wizard, David Mann, to design a dress based on his Collector’s Edition cover for THE SONG RISING. It’s probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on (besides a nice bowl of ramen or reese’s cups ice cream or the 20 actors and actresses I have massive crushes on or me with perfectly applied eyeliner). I did one for THE MIME ORDER for a YA Prom thing on Twitter a loooong while back so thought I’d do this again. Maybe I’ll redo the TMO one I did. I started a dress for THE BONE SEASON and Paige looks nice so far.

Nadine Arnett as my dress model because purple + dark skin looks hella nice, boi.  Also I’m totally alive, sorry for being absent. Procrastinating doesn’t do itself.
