Flambae and Mecha Man do a team up where the villain uses a power that’s basically a siren, they can take on the appearance of the person most likely to disarm/distract the opposite party. That could be anywhere from your greatest enemy, the person you’re in love with, your child or other very close family or friend. Add in a little mix of suggestion/mind control and bam easy take down or new minion to control.

They manage to take the villain down in a surprise attack so they can’t use their powers on them, but in the brief moment before they get knocked out they lay eyes on Flambae and turn into Robert. Not Robert as Mecha Man, but Robert in his half tucked SDN shirt with his dispatcher headphones wrapped around his neck.

We could do this the easy route and just make Chad confess to Robert but that’s no fun. Gotta make sure Robert is completely confused by the situation because he thinks he’s unloveable(I know he doesn’t want to kill me anymore but why would I be the most likely person to distract him? It’s not because I’m Mechaman so wtf is up?).

Meanwhile Chad is freaking out because he’s not entirely sure if Robert saw the villain because it really was just that split second and it’s hard to tell where Robert’s looking when he’s in the suit.
