Be nice to the polar bears that you see driving south.

And when I say polar bears, I mean these guys.

Nearly the entire North West Territories, Canada has had to evacuate south due to wildfire. The majority drove out. So if you see a vehicle with one of these license plates, please show those people love and compassion. A lot of these people had to drive though the highway with smoke and open flames along the road to flee their homes.

As of August 21st 2023, We still don't know when we may able to travel home.

Talking to some friends down south, it does not seem like there is a lot of news coverage of this event. So I wanted to throw some information out to the wilds of the internet. If you have energy and are curious, please read up on it. The news source that Yellowknifers have been getting their information is a radio Cabin radio.

Side note. Cabin radio reported that someone had their NWT license plate stolen while evacuating to Alberta. I know they are cool an all.... but seriously? Can ya'll not while we are literally fleeing from the territory? 😂

Every time I get out of the shower I hear that fucking shrimp man from finding Nemo say

I had a dream where i made blanket forts. And then a bunch of big cats like Jaguars and lions and one fox came to sleep in them. I gave them more blankets, tucked them in and let them sleep with my stuffed animals. There is one stuffed toy I had for years. It is stitch from lilo and stitch. And I was nervous to let the Jaguar sleep with it but I ain't gonna argue with a big spooky murder cat.

So, Then, they just snoozed away all happy and cuddled with my favorite stuffed toys.

I think that was one of the coolest dreams that I have had in a while.

When things are all set up, it's feels neat to step back and see so much of things I have created in one place.

Then, at the end of the day when I log what paintings were sold, it feels so neat knowing that parts of myself are now tagging along with other people. 💙
