Unpopular opinion but I would love for Lance and Alurra to have a romantic arc. Not for endgame though. But their relationship would help them both figure out what they really want. After Lotor, Alurra might feel like she needs someone to comfort her, but she'd learn with Lance that she can and will take care of herself. She can love, but her love should not be her crutch. She's strong on her own. Lance admires Alurra and thinks this love for her is romantic. In their relationship he'll discovers how close the two of them are, but as best friends and not lovers. He's incredibly protective of her and maybe in the end he realizes Alurra reminds him of one of his sisters. They will end up closer than ever. But also their ship is so cute. I dont think it would end badly, they would draw apart without breaking each others' hearts.
