I took these photo's at the Hell City Glamours first Album launch back in 2007. A lifetime ago now. Feels like it now anyway. It was the first gig I got to get my then brand spanking new Nikon D300 out at. So it was very much a great big learning experience. Low light, maximum movement and probably too many beers because I was so excited about the boys gig.
La Mancha Negra opened and it opened my eyes up to a whole 'nother genre of rock and fucking roll. Dark, deep down swampy and sexy and so much atmosphere. Thats what I like about these shots - atmospheric. Its what I captured on the night. Sydney rock n roll.
