this took so long but i'm SO damn happy with it. like compared to my attempt at the same "combine soldier skateboarding" concept in 2023 it's actually SO much improvement.

also combine helmets are SO HARD TO DRAW idk how my half-life art inspirations do it it's like. even if you trace over a helmet it won't look right (didn't trace the helmet for this one though).

also teto is there. i would have made a new audio for this art but i'm not figuring out UTAU just to make an addition to this lolol

happy halloween (9th of october as i write this - i stand by it), here's an art of the cut alien assassin from HL2!

thinking a lot about more photography-inspired art lately, specifically low-light art looks really interesting to me for the more dreamlike unease it creates. made me think of a citizen going out in the wasteland at night (couldn't sleep or something) and coming across this thing that they have no frame of reference for (especially because the combine wouldn't want to inform citizens about the ways they keep the wastelands secure). it'd be pretty spooky
