「 Every now and then, Allen finds himself at the ground floor of the apartment building of where he lives to visit a long-time friend that has been with him through thick and thin. They had an odd dynamic, him and Rod. He was a bit annoying at times with how cheerful and optimistic he is, but he got along with Allen and Allen appreciated anyone that agreed that he was great. Rod obviously had good tastes when it comes to choosing friends. He might hav a few slip-ups every now and then (coughs, Neil.), but he had a good enough impression on Allen for them to have occasional dinners together. 」
「 He knocked twice on the Biology teacher’s doors. Before he went down from his apartment on the highest floor of the building, he already sent a text. There was barking on the other side of the door so Allen was confident Rod was there. Now if only he can hurry up and let him in. 」
「 “Any day now, Rod. I don’t like wasting my time.” He sounded impatiently and displeased, but he does so only to tease and make him hurry. He has a large enough patience for him, and knowing how the man had three pets he babies to no end, he can understand a minute or two of delays. Any more than that deserves a scolding. 」
