It took me three visits before I finally had the courage to write about Badian. I first met this beauty in 2013. Back then I didn’t have a good camera phone to take pictures of the place, as well as a blog site to post it into. Gladly after a few visits, here we are.
This is one of the most memorable places to me because:
the first time I went here, it was my first solo travel.
the second time I was here, it was a team outing
the third time I visisted the place, I brought our puppy with me. Still a team building outing but it was special because it is Bambaa‘s first beach escapade.
Chillin like a boss in Lambug.
Took a quick break at the Molave Milk Station in Barili.
Monggo with chicharon toppings + rice = Burp.
Because I was so consumed with making memories with the team, unfortunately, I have not taken many pictures of the place. But here are some snaps I found on my phone, I’m not sure who took it but thank God they did. :)
This is how Lambug beach in Badian looks like. I love the long stretch of shoreline and the fact that it’s not as crowded as Moalboal. This place is just perfect for almost anything – teambuilding, backpack travelling, soul searching, dating, name it. This place is the place to be.
Also there are plenty of affordable resorts here, I stayed in Grandeur Beach Resort back in 2013 and in Escarpe Beach resort in 2015.
For enquiries you may contact these numbers:
Grandeur Beach Resort: 09333383686, 09176386640, 5131033
Their room ranges from 2000-3000 per room depending on the numbe rof pax and the type of room. You can also check out their Facebook page.
5J Escarpe Beach Resort: 09196624673, 09262830537
I’m not so sure about their pricing but they have a Facebook page too. Which is awesome and people who have stayed tehir posted their on photos as well.
That’s a wrap for day 1 in the 2-day weekend escapade in Badian.
One day down, one more to go. That’s the thing about working on weekdays and having weekends off. You get to enjoy much of the weekend feels.
Sunset at Matutinao, Badian.
We spent the rest of the night like this. Bonfire and late night games and fun.
The morning right after, we went to Kawasan Falls. I was super tired of walking since the group decided to go the the third falls and we took the wrong way. I was exhausted when we finally reached the third fall. Because of it I only managed to take this photo.
Not really into chasing waterfalls but this one is a beauty.
Badian has a very special place in my heart. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back probably next year. Hopefully, the planned group outing of my barkada will push through this time. I hate it, we haven’t progressed so far when it comes to barkada outing. We’re stuck with ALMOST.
I was probably a mermaid in my past life. LOL.
Have you visited the place? Let me know how was it in the comments below. :)
