Charlotte had her arm looped through his as they walked into the room. She gasped and her jaw dropped. “Wow! You said this was fancy, but I- I was not- prepared!” It made her all giddy and she would definitely show her appreciation later.

“We should strike some sort of pose when we walk in,” Lucia mused and glanced at the other two. “What do you think?” she asked them, her eyes flicking from Evelyn to Farid. Would they play along? Perhaps. It was also just as likely she’d blind half the room with her sparkly dress.

Lucia snapped out of her daydream and glanced over at Evelyn. “I’m sorry, what did you say? I was lost in thought,” she admitted sheepishly and then smiled at her. That kept happening to her lately but she didn’t know why. Was it the giant mess that was this town? Dredging up old memories? She didn’t know but she certainly wasn’t a fan. “Ugh, I keep thinking about my family, you know? Why do I torment myself like this?” she added and put her head on the others shoulder.

Robert was standing there talking to a street vendor who was trying to convince him he needed these purses. The confused look on his face was priceless, too. He saw a blonde wandering by and waved her over. “Hey, you, come look at this,” he urged and was totally trying to sacrifice her so he could run off. Maybe he’d feel a bit differently once he got a proper look at her face.

Yoga. Why was she here again? Lila had no desire to do this, but apparently she needed to learn better control of her own emotions and this was supposed to help. Yeah right. But she wanted to be able to more with her magic so here she was. She felt so weird and exposed in these tight fitting clothes... ugh. Oh well. One more thing for her to work on controlling. She tugged at the hem of her shirt as she stepped into the classroom and looked around. And there she saw this weird beast of a man? The heck? He was like a literal giant and she absolutely moved to the farthest corner away from him, which put her squarely in the back. Oh thank god. Now... she’d have to work on avoiding any and all chit chat. 

Thankfully class started before she’d been forced into small talk and she did her best to follow along, but god she was a mess. You’d think she’d be more comfortable with her body by now, but she was so self conscious that it made her even more awkward than usual. How was this supposed to help again? She was tense the entire time and felt like her head was going to explode by the end. She may or may not put a curse on whoever made her do this later as retribution. 

“I am so not cut out for this,” she muttered as she stayed sitting cross legged on the floor. She groaned and put her head in her hands as others made their way out of the room. It wouldn’t be long before it was just her and the hairy beast left.

Robert handed her her car keys and grinned at her. “You should be all set now,” he told Selin. “Just make sure Young puts the right kind of fuel in,” he teased and snickered at himself. Poor Young. He made the mistake like one time... months ago... but Robert couldn’t let it go. He would never let Young live it down, either. “How’ve you two been anyway?” he added on a more personal note. Robert didn’t have the most friends, but he did like those two, which is why he was picking.

Daniel walked into Prohibition and had to stop there for a moment when he saw the bartender dancing around behind the bar. Hey, it was a good tune they were playing over the sound system and while there were patrons around... it seemed relatively calm for the moment. So he admired before walking up and plopping down. “Hey, can I get one of those?” he asked and gestured to her, meaning the dancing, and to try and show that he wiggled his shoulders. He laughed a bit which faded into a crooked grin.

Charlotte was leaning on a box and staring off into space. She was waiting to meet Pandora outside of this seafood place and the tantalizing smells had taken to a whole other place. At least, until a commanding voice cleared their throat and said, “Excuse me, I need that,” and gestured to the box. “We can’t leave these lobsters in here all night,” at least that comment was wry and not angry. “Lobsters?! There are lobsters in this box?!?! Ah! I’m so sorry!” she exclaimed and immediately straightened up. She turned to head toward the door and then spotted Pandora. “Hey! Let’s get the lobster!” she said by way of greeting. “I hear they’re super fresh...”
