I'm in a Captive Prince phase. I reread the books this month and only read Capri fic. My theme for the month was arranged marriage. It wasn't planned, it just so happened that all my bookmarks pointed there. Keep 'em coming. I love it.

Laurent first meets Damen when he’s sent to Akielos as part of a Veretian delegation, and then he goes on to be so fukkin in character for the whole thing it’s just delightful. Fahye really captures Laurent’s twistiness, and Damen is perfect in his own way. Auguste, of course, LIVES and is a troll in all the ways I love

I accidentally started reading a 400k+ Captive Prince fic. I'm on chapter 7 and need someone to scream with about this fic. This Damen is... idk, I can't decide between a sadly disappointed headshake and trying to wring his obtuse neck. But I'm so invested in his (slow omg sooo painfully slow) emotional growth and his relationship with his not-son Nicaise and his painful not-divorce from Laurent.
I did not plan to spend my Easter weekend reading Lamen fic, but here I am. I cannot stop.
