Anyway! Name translations have been very contentious. I don’t quibble with the ones that are a valid take, but the likes of Abbadonia are definitely mistakes (the romanization is literally avadonia).

ty for the additional explanation! and from what I gathered from google lol it would also include equal co-rulership while both are still alive, so it seems like the most convenient hc to default to when it comes to like, AUs where human Griffith is a king without a big focus on the whys and hows and trials and tribulations.
