Braids - Lammicken
"Lammicken" - Braids
song: lammicken artist: braids album: native speaker (2011) genre: art rock/dream pop
before i say anything else, i'm just gonna recommend that you listen to this one with headphones that have quality bass. if you don't have any, go to target and get some.
okay, have you gotten some decent headphones now? alright then. this song is off an album by canadian art rock band braids. i had a hard time deciding which song off the album to post, so i highly recommend you listen to the whole thing.
right from the get-go (is that two words or one or hyphenated? i dunno) there's a pulsing bass that doesn't cease until the song is done. as the song progresses, the intensity gradually builds but the bass keeps on steadily pulsing all the while.
great band in general really. i just discovered their song "in kind" on youtube, so go give that one a listen as well if you enjoy this.
they have some singles coming out. the first is "in kind"/"amends" which will be released on june 11, 2013. the second is "flourish"/"perish", and that will be out august 20, 2013.
