Five mintues = Three hours
Yesterday I travelled from London to Portsmouth to pick up two large bespoke lampshade frames from THE lampshade frame maker, Georgina Grose. What was meant to be just a pick up and straight back on the train to London turned into a fantastically informative morning as Georgina invited me back to her work room to take a look around and to tell me about her process of making frames.It was great to meet a supplier and fellow maker face to face and spend time with them. I haven't even had a conversation with the interior design company I am making the lampshades for. It's all be done by email! And I am a person who loves to chat.
