Hi uh another "Amlei yaps random shit as usual" post read with caution. Topic is me talking about the ending of Rival's Revenge.

If someone asks me what my favorite ending out of every Lamput episode is, it had to be the end of Rival's Revenge.

I'm not a big fan of the plot to be fair (and tbf the plot twist is sorta predictable), but the ending is just so memorable compared to other Lamput endings (where he just runs away to the horizon). It's honestly so beneficial to both Lamput and the doctors.

Basically Lamput became a security guard and he's propably guarding Rival. I really love the idea of Lamput working as a security guard because he escapes alot so he might have a knowledge or two handling an experiment escaping the lab. Lamput also has more freedom but he would still be in the Lab, so the docs won't have to worry about catching him.

Kinda offtopic but this is one of the only episodes where Lamput has a better term with the docs through the WHOLE episode. (Basically they don't chase each other throughout the entire ep, Boss on The Moon is another episode like that). Given this is the only appearance where the elderly doc (I'll be referring to him as "Chacha") appears in the episode, I'm sure Chacha is one of the docs Lamput feels very safe with despite basically being on opposing teams. I do wonder how their relationship would play out in the normal chase episodes.. this duo has potential lol.
