I finally had the chance to sit down and actually ink up this pen. I figured I'll be using a very specific ink for it, and I know I don't want a boring color. I settled on either the J. Herbin Orange Indien, or an Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki. The pen seemed to respond more to the latter, which was more vibrant and flowed freer than the Herbin. The pen itself is heavy, but balanced quite nicely. It wrote as effortlessly as expected from a Lamy Gold Nib. Truly one of their best pens. #lamylove #lamydialog3 #lamy

I didn't get a chance for a really good look at this pen since I was still so giddy even after I touched down in Manila last Sunday. I have to be honest: I am still floored with no hint of buyers remorse. It's so heavy, such a great weight for a fountain pen. I am in love. Seriously. #lamylove #lamy #lamydialog3
