Relihiyon

Halos 85% ng Pilipinas ay Roman Catholics habang ang 15% ay muslim o walang relihiyon. Ang Katoliko ay influensiya ng mga Espanol sa Pilipinas. Isang mukha ng Birhen Maria ay ang 'Our Lady of La Naval de Manila'. Binigyan ito ng 'canonical crown' ni Pope Pius X sa 1906, na bigay ng Apostolic Delagate sa Pilipinas. Itong mukha ni Birhen Maria ay galing pa sa 1593 nung na komisyon ni General Don Luis Perez Dasmarinas ang statua ng Our Lady of the Rosary sa pagalala ng patay niyang ama. Binigay ito sa mga Dominican prayle para ilagay sa Santo Domingo Church.
