Ok but imagine a lance fic where he’s sent to section of space alone where time goes faster and the whole sector is full of planets that are dying due to the galra with the inhabitants still on and either unable to leave or lost hope. Lance, both wanting to get back and save others, gives hope to the first planet he’s on and the inhabitants build a ship big enough for the residents that are left just in time before the planet was fully inhabitable. He ends up becoming the Captain of the ship and they go to the other planets on their way to try to leave the sector. (Almost) every planet they go to they rescue more aliens and add onto the ship making it MUCH bigger than other ships like wow chill out. They continue on this journey where they end up having to fight and risk their lives multiple times and get scars and big injuries but they also create a home in the central base of the ship. They finally make it out of the sector and are looking for the castle of Lions (mind you lance doesn’t know time went faster for him) and help them in a battle they were loosing once they find them. And then ✨reunions✨ where the team is like what the actual fuck happened🧍♂️ and Lance is a total badass and is the “idol” to so many aliens on his ship :D
