Keith suggests to lance quietly that they have a movie night together. Shiro happens to overhear (or maybe he was eavesdropping in case exactly this happened and he's lowkey jealous). At slightly past the time Keith and Lance agreed to a movie night, Shiro shows up with his most demonic smile holding three bags of popcorn. Shiro explains how he happened to overhear their plans and said it sounds like a great team bonding opportunity. Keith is glaring daggers at him. 1/2
Lance smiles and invites him over, unaware of Keith's original intentions. Shiro walks over to the couch and plants himself firmly in between Keith and Lance, smiling innocently. Keith discretely digs his elbow into Shiro's ribs and hisses "do you have a deathwish, Shiro?" Into his ear. 'All's fair in love and war,' he mouths back. Keith spends the rest of the evening fuming as Shiro happily sits next to Lance (who has noticed absolutely nothing strange) 2/2
lmaO omg, more petty shiro, and keith being foiled once again, smh these two!! that is so silly, like, lance TOTALLY agrees that its a good bonding activity, and he feels so much closer to both of them after, enough so that it is Still Ambiguous who he prefers because he definitely doesnt notice that something is off and didnt even have romance on the mind oajfeae
lance is the sort to get just Really into the things that he watches, so he jumps and gasps and makes commentary and all of that stuff, he really likes to watch Movies with Pals :) so in the end they really all do feel closer, even if shiro Knew that sitting right next to lance during an exciting movie means getting grabbed and nudged a lot, so half of the time he and keith are exchanging smug smiles and nasty glares, respectively
maybe in the end shiro is throwing away the popcorn, and lance starts chatting with keith about what he liked in the movie only to doze off on his shoulder........... so now shiro comes back in to keith looking WAY too fucking pleased with himself, arching an eyebrow at shiro like, ‘what are you gonna do, wake him up?’, and shiro is just glaring at as lance sleepily cuddles up to his arm
lance wakes up pretty quickly tho, and they just go back to Normal while he yawns and tells them hes gonna hit the hay, but they should do it again sometime!
