This was a very sweet story, my heart was literally melting while reading most of it.Keith was a lovestruck boy all the fanfic and I lived for it. I personally love Lance and it was great to see him getting all the love that he deserves (I'm still not over season 8).

i saw a post that said lotor would be around for awhile and that jeremy said lance doesnt like lotor and that lotor would take interest in keiths heritage. is that actually a thing? i haven't seen an interview about that at all...

Hi there! I assume you’re talking about this post? The OP clarified in a followup post that the section on Lotor sticking with the team is speculation on their part.

But Jeremy definitely talked about Lance not liking Lotor in Lance’s birthday livestream. I transcribed the quote for you here.

And the question of Lotor’s reaction to Keith’s Galra heritage came up a few times at NYCC. Someone asked about it during the panel (at the 37:37 mark here), though Lauren and Joaquim said the question was very “spoilery” and dodged a bit with their answer.

It also came up with the cast. AJ said this during one of the roundtable interview:

Q: Lotor is obviously half Galra and half Altean, his generals are half Galra and half something else. We also know Keith is also half Galra and half human. If Lotor discovers that, is there any way he might see that as an in to break up the Paladins?

A.J. LOCASCIO: He’s cunning enough to use that, if he knew that. I could imagine him using that to his advantage if that were a thing.
