Catalina State Park; Tucson, AZ Day 2:
Katherine and I spent the first half of the day cooped up inside my truck camper playing Horse-Opoly as it was raining all morning. We were finally able to get out for a ride in the early afternoon. We decided to take the “50 Year Old” trail to the “Trail Link” to the “Sutherland Trail”. Our landscape changed from the previous day as we rode through gray skies and drizzle to a bright and blue sky afternoon. The Sutherland Trail took us towards the Santa Catalina mountains. We had reached a beautiful spot and stopped to take in the view and a few photos. However, dark rain clouds began approaching fast so we decided to hurry on back to camp. We cantered and trotted most of the way back and made it back to camp just in time. The day ended with a beautiful rainbow and a soft glow on the mountains. Katherine and I retreated back into the camper after getting the horses settled and warmed up to some stovetop-made chili and margaritas. We ended up finishing our board game and began playing Uno and the loser of each round had to take a shot which ended up mostly being me.
I’m about to play 20 video games in a single night and review all of them SEE Y’ALL IN HELL
