here's an appreciation post for lancer because he's like eight and in the span of two days he had his identity he'd been taught his whole life of being a "bad guy" shaken as he became best friggin friends with a lightner, and then said lightner nearly killed him in a hallway because he thought he was keeping her and her friends safe, and then he took the responsibility of talking his dad down from his known murderous tendencies into his hands and almost died again because of it (by his own dad's hands), and then rallied the majority of card castle to overthrow his dad, and then became king of his dark world, and then witnessed his dark world home being erased forever and had to move to another smaller kingdom (at least his bedroom is still intact thanks ralsei!), and then rescued kris and susie singleshoveledly from their prisons, and then slowly turned into a statue? and he's only like eight????
